Women in Construction Week Feature - Emily Neubarth, Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities

Date postedMarch 1, 2026
Posted By: Maddie Johnson in MN Chapter Updates & Info,

1) What is your job title?  Business Development Associate

2) What do you love about remodeling? I love that remodeling transforms how people experience their home. It gives people a fresh start in a space they’re already connected to. While updating a space is part of it – it’s about improving how our client’s live day to day. Seeing a vision turn into something that truly adds comfort, function, and value is incredibly rewarding to be a part of.

3) Why is it important for women to be a part of the industry? It’s important for women to be a part of the remodeling industry because homes are deeply personal. Having diverse perspectives in remodeling leads to better communication, better design, and better outcomes for our clients. There are many layers to remodeling beyond job sites. Many household decisions are strongly influenced by women. We bring valuable insight into how spaces are used, which helps create more thoughtful, functional, and comfortable homes. Representation matters, and it also helps open doors for more women to see themselves in this field.
