We’re growing and looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager who can help lead projects confidently while keeping budgets, schedules, and communication dialed in.

Position Overview

This role combines estimating, project planning, and construction management. The ideal candidate has hands-on residential construction knowledge, strong organizational skills, and experience managing projects through Buildertrend.

You’ll work closely with ownership, clients, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are accurately estimated, properly scheduled, and successfully completed.

Responsibilities

Estimating & Preconstruction

• Review plans, scopes, and site conditions
• Build detailed project estimates and budgets
• Solicit and manage subcontractor/vendor bids
• Develop scopes of work and proposal packages
• Track pricing, allowances, and change orders
• Assist with value engineering and project planning

Project Management

• Manage residential remodeling projects from kickoff through completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and material deliveries
• Maintain timelines and project budgets
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout the project
• Problem-solve proactively and keep projects moving efficiently
• Conduct site visits and quality control checks

Buildertrend Management

• Maintain and update Buildertrend daily
• Manage schedules, selections, change orders, budgeting, and client communication through Buildertrend
• Ensure project documentation is organized and current
• Utilize Buildertrend to improve workflow, accountability, and client experience

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of residential remodeling or construction management experience
• Estimating experience required
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing
• Experience using Buildertrend is required
• Ability to read construction drawings and scopes
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

• Design-build remodeling experience
• High-end residential remodeling
• Knowledge of Minnesota residential construction and permitting
• Experience managing subcontractor relationships and schedules
