What is NARI?

Welcome to NARI of Minnesota

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is a nonprofit trade association representing the largest network of professional remodelers in the United States, with over 3000 members nationwide and 25+ local chapters.

As the only national association dedicated solely to the remodeling industry, NARI brings together leading trade professionals from all over the country. NARI promotes ethical and sound business practices for the benefit of America's homeowners as well as for the industry.

NARI was founded in March of 1983 with the merger of the National Remodelers Association (NSA) and the National Home Improvement Council (NHIC).

Our Mission

To be the primary remodeling resource for professionals and consumers alike by elevating the professionalism of the remodeling industry through expanding knowledge, building relationships and recognition of industry excellence.

Programs & Events

  • Gather & Grow Meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in May and October. These meetings include a educational speaker, networking, and a mini-trade show as well as cocktail hour and dinner.  
  • Firm Nights are held 4 times a year in March, June, September, and December. Firm Nights are networking opportunities held at member showrooms highlighting new advances in technology, new offerings, and more. Each Firm Night has a small educational component about the company or product and dinner or heavy apps and drinks.  
  • NARI Minnesota also has a yearly Bowling outing in January, a Golf outing in July, and either a social event in August such as horse racing, soccer game, baseball game, or a boast cruise.  
  • NARI Minnesota provides educational training during the year and through our members. These training sessions can include continuing education credits from the Minnesota Department of Labor and our annual Education Day, where members attend a full day of presentations to receive 7 hours of CEU credits.  
  • We have several affinity programs that are available to our chapter members and as a member of NARI National, our members have access to the National affinity programs.
